With a setting inspired by sukiya-zukuri architectural styles with wood-defined tea house aesthetics, Taman Desa’s @tsuyoiwayo seeks to spirit us away to a bygone Japan, its walls lined with vintage Honda posters, lamps and ladders.

Tsuyoi tackles yoshoku fare - Japanese adaptations of Western favourites, embodied in buttery omurice with fresh-fried hambagu, hot and triumphantly textured, and demi-glace, paired with a Shiraz while Parisian tunes play on the speakers.
